Both products provide customizable employee status boards. Staff Glance emphasizes availability visibility, department scope, and optional Microsoft synchronization. InOutBoard combines status tracking with calendar-driven updates, time and emergency reports, overdue alerts, and resource scheduling.

Staff Glance does not schedule physical resources. InOutBoard documents booking for vehicles, equipment, and conference rooms by type, location, or user. Organizations combining staff status with asset reservations have a genuine InOutBoard advantage.
Staff Glance provides responsive browser access and an installable PWA, plus a Teams personal tab. InOutBoard documents responsive smartphone-browser access with no download required. A native InOutBoard mobile application was not publicly verified, and a PWA should not be described as a native app.

Both use fixed monthly capacity tiers. Staff Glance publishes a permanent five-user free plan and a 30-day paid-plan trial with up to 50 trial users and no card required. InOutBoard publishes a 30-day trial, includes all features in every standard plan, and offers custom/private solutions separately.
Microsoft-connected availability, selected-group/profile synchronization, department hierarchy and scoped visibility, installable PWA access, basic first-check-in reports, and lower published tiers at these counts.
